What is a Web Designer?

A Web designer is someone skilful in creating presentations and in managing content for the Internet. Such a person is responsible for the making and styling of websites, web pages, and web applications. He should also be mindful of his works’ quality, aesthetics value, and usability. More importantly, a Web designer’s main job is to meet or even exceed his clients’ requirements.

To become a Web designer, one must have at least some basic knowledge in the fields of animation, communication design, graphic design, computer programming, and search engine optimization. Expertise in corporate identity, marketing, photography, and typography may also be beneficial.
